Questions and Answers

To answer a few questions I have been asked:

Q) Why Goldshire/Silvermoon/Stormwind/Brill ?
A) Because these are universal locations on every sever. Yes, I know these locations have a bad reputation. However, to be fair to every server and try to create an even perspective of each servers 'culture' I need to use locations that offer the same opportunities as all others. Also, on a lvl 5 alt, I can't get locations such as Dalaran. The point of the tour is to observe each server through the eyes of a new player who does not have connections (such as a mage to create a portal), or a high level toon.

If you look at the tours, every server is NOT the same. Goldshire and other locations do in fact vary per server.

Take a moment to compare, look around. Don't beleive me, tour yourself. What will you find? Please do share.

Q) Why are you leaving the names of the players in the screenshots?
A) These screenshots are taken of characters acting out, and displaying themselves in public. As a result, I feel no concern about including their names in screenshot of their already public behavior.

Q) Well, then why do some of your screenshots have names missing?
A) I sometimes forget these things. It happens.

Q) Going to Goldshire/Brill/Etc is NOT fair! You are being mean and just looking at the bad! We all know these places are bad!
A) You would be surprised, not all servers are the same. I have been to Goldshire and found it to be nice, with quality rp, or even completely empty. Because YOU assume a place is bad, does not make it bad on every server. Look at the tours, decide for yourself! I also, have posted 'good', by saying I only focus on 'bad' things is very wrong.

Q) Do you support trolling/griefing rp?
A) No, never. If you do not like the rp, put the person(s) on ignore who offend you. If you want to make rp better, do something positive.

Q) What server should I rp on?
A) That is entirely your choice.

Q)Is all rp this bad?
A) NO!!!!!!!! There is good rp, I promise!

Q) Do you hate erp?
A) I do not. However, I think such things should be private. It happens, just please do not screw in the middle of the street.

Q) Do you rp?
A) Yes.

Q) Can I come with you on a tour?
A) Maybe someday I will post a time/location/server of when I am going to take a tour. I would have fun with other people, however I would really prefer to be able to tour unhindered with concerns for other players touring with me.

Q) Can't you report people for some of this?
A) You can, and technically it is against the TOS. The reality is, I do not think Blizzard cares.

In fact, Blizzard doesn't seem to care about a lot of things. They only recently started cracking down on private servers.

Sometimes Blizz does care
Just the other day I started an alt on Shadow Council (RP) Horde side and came across a warrior/priest team with odd names. Reversed, they spelled out "eat her" and "blow him." I submitted a ticket and their names were changed the next day.

I'm looking forward to your Shadow Council report. :)

I was just wondering what RP addons you recommend? I see you mention them sometimes, but I didn't see mention of the names anywhere. What's the addon that allows for the bio that's in a lot of your screenshots?

I really like this idea; can't wait to see the Silver Hand post!

Flagrsp2 is a simple to use, low resource mod.

Myroleplay is slightly more complex, with more options. However, most players do not put those options to use so they kind of seem wasted.

Both can be downloaded from curse gaming.

#1 Time. A tour on average takes me about 2 hours.

#2 These are not places the most commonly known for public rp on all servers. Rp does happen there, however what I have found its players using the housing units to 'play house' in a more private setting than Goldshire. It's scattered at best, and pretty hard to find, and rarely ever public.
